Frequently asked questions
What if my fiscal year starts in April?▾
Set fiscal-year start to April. Q1 will then run April–June, Q2 July–September, and so on.
Is FY2026 the year that starts or ends in 2026?▾
Different organisations differ. We label fiscal year by the calendar year that contains the FY start date; the result panel also shows the alternate label so you can match your accounting team.
Are quarters always 91 days?▾
No — calendar quarters are 90 to 92 days because months differ in length. The tool shows the exact day count for the chosen quarter.
